apparently you put mud on your face or something like that - aloe vera mud face mask

for christmas i received this face mask from my beautiful friend tash {go follow her blog here and bookblog here}
before, i never really used masks because i didn't really care that much about my skin and looking after it and i always thought that you had to spend loads of money to get one that is decent. however some really affordable ones have now started to appear which work really well {lush, la roche posay, boots and superdrug all do some really good affordable face mask products which i love}

{i think that skincare is one of the hardest things to find and buy because if you get the wrong product then you could a reaction to it and it can have a nasty affect on your skin which may last for quite a few days however, if you buy clothes and they don't fit or suit you then you can easily change and find something nicer.}

this superdrug aloe vera mud mask has become a major part of my skincare routine - using it around 2/3 times a week. it comes out a pale greeny colour and quite thick - you apply it to dry, cleansed skin and leave it on for around 10-15 minutes or until it feels to hard for your comfort {this is around enough time to watch about 2 youtube videos btw} it does harden very quickly which makes it difficult to move your mouth etc but almost instantly you feel calmed {and we've been told to stay calm because that will solve all major life issues apparently} and it feels like the product is cooling your skin. it also says on the tube that the aloe vera is de-stressing which i would say is true because it just helps you to relax.

sometimes companies overload the product with confusing and harmful ingredients which you can't understand and they may not actually be doing much good to your skin - pretty colours and fragrances are all nice but how was that chemical actually made?
this is why i enjoy tea tree and aloe vera products as they are natural ingredients, they smell nice and do good to your skin.

AND HERE'S A GREAT PHOTO OF THE MASK YO........
{AM I COOL NOW BC I TAKE MIRROR SELFIES?}
afterwards it is best washing the product off with a wet muslin cloth or a flannel and it comes off very easily and doesn't tug at your skin unlike other masks i have tried in the past and not liked. after using this, my skin felt even more cleansed, soft, fresh and it actually smoothed out my pores and made them appear smaller.

this is a great product and i would highly recommend it if you want an affordable and beneficial face mask. {so thank you muchly natasha;)} it is not currently available to purchase online however i have seen other scents etc in superdrug stores for only 2.59 so i definitely want to try these out. {lily pebbles loves this product as well so it must be good;)}

what's your favourite affordable drugstore skincare product? it would be great to find out so maybe comment below:))

i hope that you have a great morning/afternoon/evening/night/whenever you are reading this
