three for two yes please

a few weeks ago i went on a little{ish} trip to boots and superdrug to pick up a few products and i also found some new things. to my delight superdrug had a three for two offer accross all maybelline products and boots had massive three for two across all skincare, makeup and haircare product which is well just absolutelty amazing and i did end up buying a 'few' items.....

COLOR TATTOO PINK GOLD {4.99} / BABY LIPS CHERRY ME {2.99} / NAIL VARNISH MAUVE KISS {2.99}

all of these products were in the three for two offer so i pretty much got a free nail varnish which you can't really complain about. they're all affordable drugstore items anyway so this offer just made it even better and cheaper which makes me very happy.

COLOR TATTOO IN PINK GOLD {A GEL/CREAM EYESHADOW}

this product is a lovely pinky gold gel/cream eyeshadow which has a subtle shimmer running through it. i'm not one to go for sparkle or glitter especially on the eyes but it's not over the top at all and taking into account i'm not much of a pro at eyeshadow etc yet, i found this super easy to use. just dab a bit on with your finger and then blend it out will a brush, that't it:) this also makes a great base for other powder eyeshadows as it doesn't crease and stays on for ages. i haven't yet tried wearing it for 24hrs because that's a very long time and i remove all makeup every night anyway.

COLOR TATTOO PINK GOLD {TOP} / BABY LIPS CHERRY ME {BOTTOM}

this is the first baby lips lip balms that i have bought before and i am very impressed:) first of all they are very moisturising for your lips and this one in particular has such a lovely pinky red tint to it. i'm not confident enough to wear a bright red lip yet but this is subtle enough but still adds colour. i definitely want to try out more of them as for 2.99 you really can't get much better than that.

NAIL VARNISH MAUVE KISS

this has been my favourite matte nail varnish recently during the transition from winter into spring as i feel as though you can't wear deep reds/purples anymore but it's too early for bright colours and pastels. this particular colour is a combination of brown and purple and it's quite a nude shade. it only takes two coats to get a strong colour and hasn't ever chipped when i've worn it although i haven't been able to test how long it lasts for yet as i can't wear nail varnish at school so the weekend it the only time i can.

the beach? in february?

hello everyone:) i am so sorry that i haven't blogged in so long {it's been a whole month.....} {i doubt anyone even reads these posts anyway..}

even if nobody does read these posts i have lots of ideas and plans of things to write next so i hope that people like them:)

i cannot believe it is already march...wow..what has happened...what have a i done...i need to start doing interesting adventurous things...okay soon....maybe....*goes back onto twitter, gets another slice of nutella on toast and sits back down*.....

but seriously i do need to start doing more fun/exciting things because at the moment i don't really do much and i really don't like it.. this is why i REALLY want summer to come NOW because warmer weather makes everything better...going to the beach, barbecues, evening bike rides and camping and swimming and picnics:)))

the other day me and my two older brothers decided to pretend that it was summer {it was sunny outside okay...it just wasn't that warm...}. so i finished school on monday or tuesday or something and my brother was talking about how sunny it was and as he was going back to uni later he wanted to have some 'brother sister bonding time..........' so we decided to go to the beach..............

we went home and i got changed into my dungarees/shorts, a t-shirt and flip flops, like i would wear on a summers day and we hopped back into the car to sandbanks beach.

IT WAS ACTUALLY A REALLY NICE DAY...MOSTLY CLEAR BLUE SKY AND IT WAS SUNNY....JUST WISH THE TEMPERATURE WAS ABOUT 20 DEGREES HIGHER MAYBE....
